we remodeled our bathroom. i asked the tile person his preference between a shower door or shower curtain. he said that shower doors hide the beauty of the marble and also add an uncomfortable rail, whereas shower curtains can be drawn back to show off the beauty of the marble. on top of that, we selected a shower curtain that matches the color scheme of the bathroom. this shower rod not only matches all our hardware, it adds space to make the shower roomier. five stars.

installing was a little challenging, cutting it to the right size and angle.

the unit itself is great. my only beef is with the seller. they shipped the unit in the original packaging with extra packaging tape. the chrome was exposed, and left with packaging tape gunk all over it.

Purchased one rod based on reviews suggesting that installation was difficult. My husband (he is quite handy) had no difficulty putting it up, so I ordered the 2nd rod (it went up easily, too). Guests who use those showers appreciate the extra room, and I like the sleek look of the rods. We've not had them long, and have experienced no rust (reviewers of one Moen rod stated this was a problem).

This is a great curved shower curtain rod. I read up the specifications on the stainless steel from the Moen website, and this rod uses a higher quality or grade of stainless steel than most other products. Other cheaper products use a stainless steel that can actually rust! This one will not. I did have to saw a very small amount off each end to make it fit my stall perfectly. I used the drywall anchors and they were a little difficult to screw the screw into the anchor, but it worked out. It looks great and recommend this! I did a lot of reviewing of shower curtain rods from multiple sites and reading all the reviews, and believe this to be the best if you want a curved rod that will last a long time. I did not want an adjustable rod that would rust in the joint eventually or that would snag the curtain rollers. Looks very sleek and I get good comments on it often. I mounted it high enough so that people wouldn't grab onto the bar for support often, I'm sure the drywall anchors are strong, but I didn't have studs to use. Paired this with the popular curtain liner on amazon and it's all I could ask for.
